2006 Mercedes Vito 111CDI 2.2 Diesel 160,000 miles Blue with white roof (sorry that didn't come out in the photos). Three seats. 6 gears. MOT till November. I've had the Vito for almost 4 years, I built the campervan conversion myself and loved doing it and using it as a camper. I have recently done camping trips around Wales and Devon but have been as far as the John O'Groats in Scotland. The van is unfortunately, not classified as a campervan due to the DVLA changing the list of requirements as I was finishing it but can easily be insured as a campervan even so. The conversion is very nicely done with everything needed for a super comfy camping trip. It allows full length of floor space to fit surfboards and the bed folds up to allow up to three bikes without dismantling them. Campervan conversion sleeps 2 people. The conversion includes: Full insulation and sound deadening. Windows fitted to both sliding doors, one with an opening panel, both tinted. Rock and roll style bench & bed (full 6ft length). Cooker top with two gas burners. Sink with tap (12 litres of clean water storage as well as the same for grey waste. Fridge. Removable table. Insulated& foil back window covers. Tons of storage space. Electrical system is fully fused with 12v sockets, 5v USB charging point and 230v three pin plug sockets (300Watt). Has the capability to plug a solar panel into the system too (Solar panel not included). Two setting on the lighting (three spot lights over the cooker/ sink/ fridge or defused lighting that shines through the gaps in the roof planks (I especially loved this). Rear storage area for the spare wheel (brand new tyre) & tools. The van had front springs and shocks replaced a few months ago. New headlights fitted recently. Fresh oil change in July. All brake discs & pads replaced March 2020 (including handbrake pads). In 2019 the turbo was replaced with a reconditioned one (due to the existing one getting clogged up with diesel soot). The van drives really nicely with plenty of beans and the brakes are very good. It has six gears so cruises all day long and isn't too bad on fuel (considering it is literally carrying everything including the kitchen sink). The only bad points on this van are mild surface rust on the jacking points, it does whistle while accelerating but not very loudly, which the garage told me is a turbo noise but this turbo didn't whistle before it was fitted to this van (I drove the donor van back from Exeter and it was sent off for reconditioning) so, I'm not sure about that, and it has the usual car park dings. I'll miss this van when its gone and hope someone gets many more years of camping trips out of it. I've made this advert honest and included all faults that I know of. I will try and respond to any questions you have. £250 non refundable deposit required on agreement of purchase. The van is up for sale elsewhere so the advert may end early if sold. Please pay by bank transfer or cash. I wont accept PayPal.
